This step-down / buck module lowers the input voltage to a specific output voltage that you adjust via trimmer on the circuit board. It is very practical becouse by changing the input voltage, output voltage always remains the same. It converts voltages with high efficiency, sagnificantly higher than standard voltage regulators.
• Input voltage: 5V - 23V
• Outtput voltage: 1.0V - 17V
• Max. current on output: 1.8A, peak 3A
• Efficiency: to 94%

No protection diode in case of wrong polarity, be careful when connecting!
