Gas sensor MQ9 detects the presence of CO (Carbon Monoxide), CH4 (Methane) and LPG in the air. The best results are given while compounds are in liquid form, however, it still does an amazing job when measuring in gas form. It needs a bit of time to warm up in order to work correctly.
The gas sensor MQ9 contains a small heater with a consumption of ≤350mW. It needs a short warm-up time to work properly. Detects: carbon monoxide with a minimum concentration of 10-1000ppm. Methane and Propane concentrations 100-10000ppm. It can also detect other flammable vapors and gases. You can connect the analog output via the analog pin to the ADC of the Dasduino/Arduino. Digital output with LM393 comparator to ordinary GPIO.
