The air particle sensor measures PM2.5 (physical particles in the air less than or equal to 2.5 microns) and PM10 (less than or equal to 10 microns) and sends them via serial communication to the microcontroller for reading. It is done using the advanced laser technology that is able to calculate the number of particles in the air volume (μg / m3).
